Kiron, on the northern edge of Crawford County, is unique because in the late 1880's the town was moved to be next to the railroad.

The city park features playground equipment and a soccer field. The modern shelter features a kitchen and restrooms.

Little League, 4-H, Community Club, senior citizens and church groups for all ages offer activities for everyone in the community.
Community churches: St. John's Lutheran M.S., Baptist and Bethel Lutheran E.L.C.A.

Kiron is a quiet, safe environment for families to raise their children.
