The Chamber can put you in touch other Chamber members who could become new clients or customers. 

Ambassador Calls
An excellent weekly gathering for both Chamber members and new businesses. Ambassadors get a chance to see new businesses, remodeling, etc. Businesses get the chance to receive great publicity for new things happening in their business.

Chamber Mixers and Business After Hours
Popular membership get-togethers held throughout the year where members and their employees can meet, exchange cards, and talk "shop" in a relaxed and informal setting. Any Chamber Member is welcome to promote their business through hosting a Business After Hours.

Annual Banquet and Meeting
The annual event highlights the past year's accomplishments and the upcoming year's priorities of the Chamber. The event also features an evening of dinner, entertainment and dancing.

Other Social Events
The Chamber hosts 2 golf tournaments, a "Women in Business" Luncheon, Teachers Welcome Banquet and other events that involve all of our diverse Chamber members businesses.

There is no better way to get your firm's name before the public than Chamber membership. Membership also provides members with invaluable resources to help their business run smoothly. 

CDC Update
The Chamber's Newsletter is designed to keep members informed on committees community activities, Chamber events, local business issues and member businesses. The CDC Upadte also provides a vehicle for Chamber members to promote their products and services to over 350 subscribers through advertising opportunities.

Referrals
The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for recommendations on goods or services to be purchased in Crawford County. We refer only Chamber members to these inquiries.

Seminars & Workshops
Through out the year a series of professional workshops and seminars are offered for Chamber members in areas of customer relations, management skills, time management and other related topics. Chamber members always receive a discount on registration fees.

Membership Plaques and Stickers
Displayed stickers and plaques add credibility to your business. It certifies your support in the development of the Crawford County community and your voice in its direction.

Bulk Mailing Permit
Direct mail to potential customers is one of the best forms of advertising there is. The Chamber has a bulk mailing permit which is available to our members for use on large mailings of 200. Using the permit can save you up to .11¢ per piece.

Membership Directory
The CDC's membership directory lists all member firms including phone, fax, main contact and address. Lists are also conveniently available in label or disc form giving you direct access to a target audience of business professionals.

Publications, Brochures and Lists
Many hours of research and production go into the publishing of many lists and brochures available at the Chamber including Chamber member listings, civic organization listings, maps, community reference guides, local attraction brochures and more. Political Representation
The Chamber assists you in keeping up-to-date with governmental issues which may directly affect your business.

Red Alert Program
This telephone calling tree alerts businesses of scams (shoplifting, bad checks, deceptive advertising) taking place in the community. 

Professional CDC Staff
The Chamber should be your first call for information. Whatever your question is, you will find the Chamber usually has the answer or can put you in touch with those who do.

Retail Promotions & Community Events
CDC co-sponsors many promotions and exciting events to attract tourism into the county and to promote shopping locally. A few of these events include Moonlight Madness, Poker Run, Cat and Dog Day, The "It's A Wonderful Life" Christmas Festival, and the Christmas Open House.

Merchant Money
Merchant Money is available at the Chamber office, encourages local shopping, makes it easier to give a gift or incentive, and promotes spending at Chamber member locations. The Chamber sells thousands of Merchant Moneys each year. Merchant Money can only be spent at Chamber member businesses.

Business Retention and Expansion
CDC is committed to growing the Crawford County economy and consistently looks for programs that will help grow and sustain our economic condition.

Economic Development
CDC works with many businesses and entrepreneurs insuring that questions are answered and needs are met. The Chamber also initiates many recruiting programs to find new businesses and works hard to initiate programs for existing businesses and their retention.

Location Assistance
CDC keeps an up-to-date, detailed listing of available buildings within the communities.

Statistical Information
CDC keeps up-to-date statistics on file regarding sales tax figures, populations, labor surveys, traffic counts, etc. We also have ready resources to locate more specific information if and when needed.
