Exciting plans are underway for a Holiday Tour of Homes event that will be held on Sunday, December 13th from 1-4pm in Denison. The Women in Business Impact Organization (WIBIO-a committee of the Chamber and Development Council of Crawford County) is organizing this event. Members of the group have planned for guests to tour five historical homes in the uptown area including the oldest house still standing in Denison. The tour will end at Judge Connor’s Bed & Breakfast with gingerbread cookie decorating, hot cocoa, cider and coffee.
Tickets are $13 and all proceeds will go towards the Santa House project as well as beautification projects planned for 2016. Tickets are available at the CDC office and will also be sold at the door. Visitors are to check in at the Donna Reed Theatre Lobby between 1 and 1:15pm. Tours will begin promptly at 1:30pm and guests will have approximately a half hour at each home. Visitors are encouraged to drive to each location due to the colder temperatures that occur this time of the year.
The group would like to extend their gratitude to the following hosts who have kindly offered to include their homes on the tour including Nate & Amber Mahrt, Michelle Lima, Phil & Norma Nichols, Red & Kara Monson, and Duane & Kristy Zenk.
The WIBIO is an organization of local business women who call the Denison area home, and have joined forces to impact and improve our community. For further information on the Holiday Tour of Homes event contact the CDC Office at 263-5621.
