Leading Edge


The Leading Edge Program was designed for high-potential prospects who are well-positioned to play a more prominent role in their place of employment and their community.
2026–2027 Program

The 2026–2027 program year for the Leading Edge Program runs from September 2026 to May 2027 and offers a comprehensive leadership development opportunity.

Participants, drawn from Crawford County residents or employees with a vested interest in community growth, will meet one day per month for eight hours.

The program is $1,000 per attendee for CDC members or $1,200 per attendee for non-members. The fee covers all expenses, including meals and class materials.

Selection for the program is competitive, aiming for a diverse representation across business, professional, nonprofit, and local resident sectors. Although acceptance isn’t guaranteed, applicants are encouraged to reapply if initially unsuccessful, with class sizes limited to 15 participants annually.

The Leading Edge Program is comprised of participants who have an interest in leadership roles and community service. Leading Edge is designed for high-potential prospects who are well-positioned to play a more prominent role in their place of work and in their community.

The Program

  • September 2026–May 2027
  • Monthly eight-hour sessions
  • $1,000 cost per attendee for CDC members
  • $1,200 cost per attendee for non-members
  • Cost includes meals, class materials, and other expenses
  • Participants must reside or be employed within Crawford County
  • Class size is limited to 15 people
